Residents in Dagestan report blocking Mutsalaul village by troops and militia

Since today's morning, the village of Mutsalaul, Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, is blocked by army units and local law enforcers. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent learnt about it Bashir Alavdinov, a resident of this village.

The operation is supported by heavy combat machinery, and the village is cordoned by its perimeter by ATCs (armoured troop-carriers) with unjacketed machine guns. Eyewitnesses report that documents are checked in all the houses, some of them were thoroughly searched; four persons, including three men from the Magomedov family, one of them - Shamil Magomedov - being a many-times prize-winner of international and Russian free-style wrestling competitions, were detained and taken away in some unknown place.

The press service of the MIA of Dagestan said that the have no information.
