President of Chechnya names the site calling him to head Russia a provocation

A website has appeared in the Internet calling to nominate the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov for the President of Russia at the 2012 election. The President of Chechnya labelled it an ideological diversion.

Judging by the news placed in the website kadyrov2012.com and covering his official activities, the resource was opened less than a month ago. The design of the website is of high level.

The header text runs that "Kadyrov has proved his ability to manage both economy and power structures. He has indisputable respect among the population of Russia," The "Echo Moskvy" Radio quotes.

"This is a mean provocation of the people or forces, who and which stoop to anything. I am firmly convinced that the most inveterate enemies of the Chechen people and Russia are behind," said Mr Kadyrov in his comment on the appearance of the new website.

He has stated that neither he nor his supporters have anything to do with it. On preliminary data, the website is registered in one of western countries, as reported by the press service of the head of the Chechen Republic.

The BBC notes that it is difficult to find any joke or a dirty trick in the materials of the site.
