Krasnodar: Anastasia Denisova's apartment searched
Today in Krasnodar, militiamen conducted a search in the apartment of Anastasia Denisova, a member of the Coordination Board of the Youth Human Rights Movement, leader of the organization "ETnIKA", active participant of the Movement "GROZA" and employee of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial". It was stated that the search was conducted under a special operation of checking the conformity of actual residents to those registered in the apartment in the context of a terror threat.
According to Ms Denisova, at 125 p.m., militiamen appeared at her flat, accompanied by the mistress of the house and witnesses, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes. The power agents - operative employees of the division to fight economic crime (known as "OBEP") of the Western District of Krasnodar Armen Gasparyan, Pavel Ignatenko and Vasily Linkov - presented a court's ruling of January 6 and stated a search. They told Denisova that they were looking for non-licensed software.
As a result of the search, which lasted for more than four hours, the militiamen confiscated Denisova's notebook computer, an external hard drive and a flash memory stick, the "Rosbalt" reports.
Tomorrow, on January 12, at 2:00 Denisova is summoned to militia for interrogation, as the Open Information Agency reports. She will go there with lawyer Marina Dubrovina, who cooperates with the Inter-Regional Human Rights Association "Agora", where Denisova addressed for help.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported about a similar incident with Anastasia Denisova: in October 2009, her rented premise was searched, and her computers were confiscated.
