Miners who demanded payment of wage debts in Rostov Region stop their strike

The 34 miners, who were on strike in the Rostov Region with a demand to pay out their three-month salary debts, have gone out of the mine. All the debts have been paid off. According to Gennady Kopaev, trade union leader of the mine, the total wage debt was over 21 million roubles.

Today, Sergey Nazarov, vice-governor of the Rostov Region, has reached an agreement with the "Donenergo" Company on lending money to pay the wages to miners in exchange of future coal deliveries for the needs of the Company. In total, miners received more than 21 million roubles, the "Komsomolskaya Pravda" writes.

At the working sitting, held at the Chikh Mine under presidency of vice-governor Sergey Nazarov, a decision was made to suspend the enterprise is accepted, as reported by the "Interfax". The sitting ruled to hold a general assembly of the labour collective on June 29 and report the situation at the enterprise to the miners.
