At their gathering in Urus-Martan, members of the Zakaev family clan have criticized, in an insulting manner, Akhmed Zakaev, the head of government of the self-proclaimed Ichkeria (banned in Russia by the court) for supporting the 1ADAT Telegram Channel. Having declared their loyalty to the "padishah", the clan members demanded from emigrants not to interfere with Chechen affairs.

In Chechnya, many relatives of Murad Aslamkhanov, a critic of Chechen authorities, who is living in Austria, have been detained, Aslamkhanov himself stated on September 12. He launched his YouTube channel after the resonant humiliation of Salman Tepsurkaev. In a video appeal to Ramzan Kadyrov, he stood up for his relatives, threatening to execute relatives of the people from Kadyrov's retinue living in Europe.

Zamid Chalaev, the commander of the special regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Chechnya, called the words of critics of the republic's authorities after the publication of the video with the humiliation of Salman Tepsurkaev as empty talks, stating that they would be "called to account." Activists believe that authorities are trying to reduce the negativity caused by this video.

Musa Lomaev, a blogger, has stated that Finnish law enforcers arrested a suspect of attempting on his life. According to the 1ADAT Telegram Channel, Chechen authorities had promised half a million US dollars for Lomaev's head.

Salman Tepsurkaev was deservedly humiliated for insulting women; such antics will be monitored and punished in the same way or even more severely, Said Chubaev, the director of the marketplace in Oiskhar, stated in his video appeal. Instagram users criticized Chubaev and suggested that the video had been recorded in view of some expensive gift from the authorities.

Akhmed Zakaev, the head of the government of the self-proclaimed Ichkeria (banned in Russia), said that Chechen law enforcers released his relatives, detained after Zakaev's video appeal in support of the 1ADAT Telegram Channel. He has added that before the incident with Salman Tepsurkaev he had not been the channel's moderator.
