During the week from December 28, 2020, to January 3, 2021, four persons fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus: three were killed and one was wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

The law enforcers named in the journalistic investigation into the poisoning of the opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, had visited Kabardino-Balkaria and Dagestan when the human rights defender, Timur Kuashev, and the activist of the "Sadval" movement, Ruslan Magomedragimov, died there, as follows from the materials published by Khristo Grozev, a Bellingcat's journalist.

Relatives of the deceased policeman, Magomed Djabrailov, have no reason to declare a blood feud, since both attackers were killed, Ruslan Kutaev, the president of the Assembly of Caucasian Nations, has stated. The teip of the surviving policeman has announced only a quarrel, which cannot be treated as a blood feud, Zaurbek Sadakhanov, a lawyer, has noted.

Relatives of the Timurziev brothers killed in Grozny decided to come from Ingushetia to Chechnya when "emotions subside," Sarazhdin Sultygov, a member of the Ingush teip, has informed. The Council of Teips of Ingushetia has suggested that the Sultygov and Timurziev teips settle the conflict with relatives of Chechen law enforcers in accordance with the Sharia law.

CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) cameras in Grozny captured the murder of the policeman, Magomed Djabrailov, and the wounding of his colleague, as well as the death of both attackers, the "Grozny" TV Channel has informed.

Members of the Chechen teip (family clan) Ersno, to whom the policeman wounded in Grozny belongs, have announced that they are in a quarrel with the Timurziev and Sultygov teips from Ingushetia. The Ramzan Kadyrov's teip, Beno, has voiced out threats against these Ingush teips.

The "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by the court, has claimed responsibility for the attack on law enforcers committed in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, as a result of which one policeman perished and another one was wounded.

Relatives of Magomed Djabrailov the policeman, who was killed in Grozny, have announced a blood feud to relatives of the two natives of Ingushetia, about which they had been warned earlier by Magomed Daudov, Speaker of the Chechen Parliament.

Analysts call in question that the Timurziev and Sultygov Ingush teips (family clans) sincerely admitted that they were wrong. The experts suggest it has been a unique case when members of the Ingush teips objected to Ramzan Kadyrov and requested to prove that the suspects killed in a special operation were terrorists.

An attack on the police in Grozny has become at least the seventh knife attack on the police in Chechnya, Ingushetia, and Kabardino-Balkaria, that is, the regions of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), over three years. Most of attackers were declared natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia.

Members of the Ingush teips (family clans) of Timurzievs and Sultygovs have posted their second video about the natives of Ingushetia killed in Grozny. According to their version, they watched the video from the venue, which clearly shows the actions of Khasan and Khusein, admitted that they were wrong and expressed condolences to the family of the killed law enforcer.

A resident of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) extorted money from girls by threatening to spread their intimate photos in social networks; the police have reported about 18 criminal cases initiated against the suspect. Similar cases are being investigated in other regions of Northern Caucasus; and fighters for morality acted as blackmailers.
