Some 300 Azerbaijani citizens remain in the camp near Kullar; they will be accommodated in Dagestani boarding houses; and the camp tents will be dismantled with the onset of cold weather. In total, 1200 Azerbaijani citizens willing to return to their homeland have been registered in Dagestan, the operative headquarters under the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has informed.

In Tskhinvali, the Russian military personnel have set up a mobile hospital for patients diagnosed with COVID-19, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) reports. While explaining the need for a mobile hospital, the chief resuscitator of South Ossetia has noted that the republic's hospitals were facing shortage of beds because of the rapid increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus.

The camp organized near the village of Kullar still accommodates 335 residents of Azerbaijan; 99 other people live in a spontaneous camp. On the anniversary of the seizure by militants of the Theatre Centre in Moscow, where the "Nord-Ost" musical was staged, commemorative events have been cancelled because of the coronavirus epidemic. However, people still brought flowers and children's toys to the theatre building. After 18 years passed from the day of the terror act, the question concerning the need for the assault and the use of soporific gas remains disputable.

The residents of Batumi, who demanded to extend social payments and defer payments on bank loans, have stopped their hunger strike after the promise of Tornike Rizhvadze, the head of the Adjara Government, to resolve these problems. People have the right to demand help from authorities, as they are in a difficult social situation due to the coronavirus epidemic, human rights defenders believe.

On October 19, in Batumi, five women, who were on hunger strike demanding benefits for the unemployed and deferred payments on bank loans, stopped their protest after feeling worse. In his turn, Giorgi Gorgiladze, who had stopped his hunger strike, has resumed it in front of the building of the Adjara Government.

Kadyrov's words can be treated as an indirect accusation of unprofessionalism of Russian special services, the experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" believe. At the same time, Ruslan Kutaev, President of the Assembly of Caucasian Nations, did not rule out that Moscow allowed Kadyrov to make such a statement, and in the future may use his words in connection with the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
