The military court in Rostov-on-Don has sentenced Mikhail Balabanov, who pleaded guilty to preparing the arson of the military commissariat (registration and enlistment office) in the Stavropol Territory, to 4.5 years in jail within the case of preparing a terror act.

The defence has filed an appeal complained against the sentence of Dagestani journalist, Abdulmumin Gadjiev, with the Southern District Military Court, his advocate has informed. The traditional picket in Gadjiev's support passed without provocations and aroused the interest of Makhachkala residents, Magomed Magomedov, a deputy editor-in-chief of the "Chernovik" outlet, has noted.

The participants in the gathering held in the Levashi District have demanded to return the girl abducted by a young man back to her family and complained about inaction of law enforcement bodies.
