Relatives of Temirlan Machalikashvili, 19, who was killed in a special operation in Pankisi, began collecting signatures to a petition on setting up an inquiry commission under the Georgian Parliament. They demand to find those responsible for Temirlan's death, and to assess whether the use of weapons by law enforcers was justified.

Jehovah's Witnesses* have reported the arson of a building in the dwelling settlement of Prokhladny, where religious services had been held before the ban of the religious organization.
