The Supreme Court (SC) of North Ossetia has rejected the complaints against the administrative arrest of Batraz Gagiev, Kazbek Kasaev and Khetag Vataev, who participated in a spontaneous rally in Vladikavkaz. Batraz Gagiev remains in hospital, where he was taken from the detention centre at activists' insistence.

Law enforcers have tortured Niyameddin Akhmedov, an arrested activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), aiming to force him to testify against Ali Kerimli, his party comrade, the PFPA has stated. The country's police did not confirm this version.

The Azerbaijani Court of Appeal has rejected the complaint about the administrative arrest of Natig Isbatov, a reporter of the website "7gun.az". His defence treats the refusal as unjustified and subject to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).
