The Basmanny Court of Moscow has extended the arrest of Said Amirov, Mayor of Makhachkala, who was dismissed from office. According to the Judge's decision, Said Amirov will stay in custody till February 28, 2014.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has issued the next decision on the complaint filed by residents of Chechnya regarding the disappearance of their relatives. According to the ECtHR's decision, the complainants are to receive compensation in the amount of about 200,000 euros.
