Kuban coordinator of "Golos" complains about threats from law enforcers
David Kankiya claimed that law enforcers stopped him in the street and demanded to give them his mobile phone, while threatening with an arrest. In North and South Ossetia, Day of Knowledge postponed to honour victims of Beslan tragedy
In North Ossetia, schools will organize solemn morning gatherings on September 4, after a three-day watch in memory of people who fell victim to the terror act in Beslan, the Ministry of Education and Science of North Ossetia reports. In South Ossetia, the new school year will begin on September 5, the republic's authorities announce.

Court recalls decision to arrest two men accused of riots near Kullar
The defence succeeded in seeking the cancellation of the decision to extend the arrest of Emin Imamaliev and Elbrus Akhmedov, accused of attacking law enforcers during a protest action in a camp in the Kullar village. The court dismissed a request of the Prosecutor's Office to take defendant Djeikhun Namazov in custody.
