Rights defenders release video of Georgian citizen's torture in Russian prison
The "Public Verdict" organization has received a video of beating of Vazha Bochorishvili, a Georgian citizen, who died in spring of 2017, in a Yaroslavl colony. Investigators have reported a case opening only after the release of the video, although earlier Bochorishvili's death was explained by his illness.

For the second year in a row, after a long break, the Chechen authorities have been holding an official rally in Grozny in memory of victims of the Stalinist deportation and combining the mourning date with the celebration of the Defender of the Fatherland Day. Over 10 activists detained in special operation to arrest Georgian opposition leader Meliya

Court releases Dagestani resident Bagavudin Omarov sentenced in case on extremism

Tbilisi court supports detained activists
A Tbilisi court acquitted two out of eight detained protesters accused of failure to obey to the legal requests of the police. Other three protestors got warnings from the court. The decision on the rest detainees was postponed at a request from their advocates.
