Court denies transfer under house arrest for PFPA activist Akhmedov
The court refused to stop the criminal prosecution and place under house arrest Niyameddin Akhmedov, a member of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, accused of financing terrorism. The oppositionist denied the accusations and called them politically motivated.

Advocates assess prospects of prosecution in Pogorov's case
The detention of Akhmed Pogorov is unlikely to change the accusations against the other defendants in the "Ingush case". This opinion was voiced by the advocates interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot". Journalist and blogger convicted in Azerbaijan for criticizing official
