Court seizes USD 1400 from Tsarnaev in favour of Boston terror act victims

Operative headquarters claims poorer COVID-19 situation in five regions of Southern Russia

Commanders deny sending military forces from Rostov Region to Kazakhstan
A spokesperson for the Southern Military District called false the information about a transfer of a brigade of guards from Kamensk-Shakhtinsk to suppress riots in Kazakhstan. Paratroopers from Tula have already arrived in the country to perform the CSTO mission.

Ingushetia and Chechnya set records in number of divorces
In January-November 2021, all the regions of the Southern and North-Caucasian Federal Districts (SFD and NCFD) saw more divorces than in the same period of 2020, according to the data released by the "Rosstat" (Russian Federal Statistics Service). Ingushetia and Chechnya were the so-called "anti-leaders" in terms of the increase in the number of divorces, where their number increased by 218% and 163%, respectively.

Petition in defence of Karabakh place names gains over 3000 signatures
After the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan requested Google to leave only Azerbaijani place names (toponyms) on the maps, activists compiled a petition stating that Google should prevent the removal of Armenian place names (toponyms) from the maps of Nagorno-Karabakh.
