ECtHR obliges Azerbaijan’s authorities to pay compensation to journalist Eynulla Fatullaev
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has pronounced a decision in the case of “Eynulla Fatullaev vs. Azerbaijan” and recognized the violation of the journalist’s rights to a fair trial. The ECtHR obliged the Azerbaijan’s authorities to pay to Eynulla Fatullaev the compensation in the amount of 4000 euros.

Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh demand to return them to their homeland
Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh have declared an indefinite sit-in protest action in front of the UN Office in Yerevan. The protestors claim that the authorities of Armenia and Karabakh are not making enough efforts to resolve the Karabakh problem and also call for the creation of conditions for the Karabakh refugees to live in Armenia.

Woman from Kalach-on-Don complains about commissariat's refusal to help in delivering soldier's body

Pashinyan and Aliev agree to set up commission on border delimitation
As a result of the talks, Nikol Pashinyan, the Armenian Prime Minister, and Ilham Aliev, the Azerbaijani President, have agreed to set up a commission on delimitation of the countries' borders by the end of April, and start drafting a peace agreement.

The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump.
