At night on July 7, in the Krymsk District of the Krasnodar Territory water went up by four meters. The locals are convinced that the cause of flooding was the opening of floodgates of the Neverdjayev storage reservoir.

Today, in Makhachkala, the "Dynamo" Stadium has hosted a rally in support of the local "Anji" Football Club (FC), which was banned by the UEFA to hold Europa League in Dagestan for security reason. The protesters adopted a resolution calling the UEFA to set up and send a commission of independent experts to Makhachkala to make an objective decision.

More than 50 organizations of the "Public Environmental Alliance" have sent a letter to Ovik Abramyan, Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia, and Samvel Balasanyan, Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission on Agriculture and Environment, asking to nullify the decision to take out water from Lake Sevan. 20 public organizations of the Gegharkunik region have addressed Ovik Abramyan with the same request.
