A fight with the security guards of Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the leader of Ingushetia, in which three persons were injured, was initiated by the owner of the car, which the security guards intended to inspect. The actions of the security guards themselves were not professional. This was reported by the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" that studied the video record from the place of the incident.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has notified Russian authorities that Ibragim Musaev, an Azerbaijan citizen and an employee of the Ministry of National Security (MNS) of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic (NAR), should not be extradited to Azerbaijan from Russia without further notice of the Court.

The Nasimi District Court of Baku has extended by two months the arrest of Ilkin Rustamzade, a member of the civil movement "Free Youth", charged with disorderly conduct. Under the ruling, the young man will stay behind bars till November 17. The defendant and his advocate have stated their disagreement with the ruling and intend to appeal against it.
