The Court of Appeal of Armenia returned a claim of the attorneys of convicted activists of ANC for revision

Today the Court of Appeal of Armenia under the chairmanship of judge Avetisyan having considered an appeal of the attorneys of four young oppositional activists against the verdicts of general jurisdiction and the Appellate court decided to return the claim for revision, Press Service of oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) reported.

Identity of supposed participants of armed underground killed in Kabardino-Balkaria established

Today an armed group of three men was blocked in one of the houses of Chegem. Later they were killed. They were part of a so-called “South-Western sector” of gunmen, representatives of power ministries state. A man killed in a skirmish with policemen in the settlement of Ingishi was preliminarily identified as Gadjimurad Omarov. According to the investigation’s version, he was one of the two men who on January, 23, opened fire at the personnel of law enforcement bodies near the settlement of Tlyarata, Gumbet district, a representative of Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation in Dagestan reported.

12 gunmen were killed in a special operation in the mountains of Chechnya, the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia informed confirming that brothers Muslim and Hussein Gakaev were identified among those killed. One policeman was killed, too, and seven more got wounded.
