As reported by the Chief Department for the Volgograd Region of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE), a woman, wounded in the terror act in Volgograd on October 21, has died in the Vishnevsky Surgery Institute in Moscow. Thus, the death toll of the bus explosion has now eight persons. Currently, four more victims are still in hospitals.

Today, the Zamoskvoretskiy District Court of Moscow has failed to consider the claim lodged by the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" on challenging the demand of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office that had prescribed the HRC to get registered as a foreign agent. The claimants have petitioned to adjourn the session; and the judge postponed it until February 4.

Sirazhuddin Kurbanov, a resident of the village of Novy Kyakhulay, Lenin District of Makhachkala, was kidnapped on November 15 and tortured, said a source from the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy). The kidnappers released Kurbanov on the same day.
