Militants confirm death of Magomed Abdulkhalikov in village of Kvanada
On January 11, Magomed Abdulkhalikov, the leader of the Tsumada armed grouping of the armed underground, who was in the federal wanted list, was killed in a shootout with law enforcers in the Dagestani village of Kvanada. This was reported by the information resource of militants.

Rights defenders complain to ECtHR about kidnapping and torture of Chechen resident
Lawyers of the Committee for the Prevention of Torture have sent a complaint to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) for the benefit of Murad Amriev, a resident of Chechnya, who claimed being kidnapped and tortured by law enforcers. Case of shelling in Derbent can be reclassified as terror act, advocates assert

Ramzan Kadyrov: Aslan Maskhadov's widow returns to Chechnya
Kusama Maskhadova, a widow of Aslan Maskhadov, a Chechen militant leader, has got a Russian passport and returned home. This was reported by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. Russia refuses to extradite Khaiser Djemilev to Ukraine
The Russian General Prosecutor's Office has dismissed the request of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) of Ukraine for the extradition of Khaiser Djemilev, who is sentenced in the Krasnodar Territory and who is a son of Mustafa Djemilev, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Gyumri pays tribute to massacred Avetisyan family members

Victims of shelling in Derbent accuse law enforcers of inaction
Persons wounded in the shelling of Derbent are in need of financial assistance. This was claimed by victims and their relatives.
