"No to robbery!" announces new protests in Armenian cities

On September 11, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Spitak, Ashtarak, and Yerevan will hold protest actions against the increase in electricity tariff. However, the Yerevan Mayor's Office crossed out Bagramyan Avenue from the planned route of the rally-march. This was reported by Maxim Sargsyan, a member of the initiative group "No to robbery!"

Ramzan Kadyrov quarrels with GPO on ban of book with Koran quotations

Sochi: MfE rescuers save 77-year-old pensioner

In Sochi, a unit of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) has saved a 77-year-old woman, who had lain unconscious in her apartment for a few days. HRC to urge Russian President to receive refugees from Syria in the Caucasus

The Russian Presidential Council for Civil Society Institutions Development and Human Rights will consider a draft appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin with the request to allow the reception of Syrian Circassians.
