"Meduza": conflict with Salafis in Dagestan is beneficial for power agents

Over 100 workers of "Sedin" Factory in Krasnodar to be laid off

Georgia demands to release persons detained at South-Ossetian border
On February 24, at the 63rd meeting within the Mechanisms for Preventing and Responding to Incidents (MPRI), which took place in the village of Ergneti, representatives of South Ossetia stated eight violations of the border with Georgia. The Georgian party claimed detention of 10 persons; two of them remain in SIZO (pre-trial prison) of the city of Tskhinvali.

Advocates report on beatings of Armenian activist in prison

Chechen Diasporas hold coordinated action in memory of deportation
On February 23, actions, dedicated to anniversary of deportation of Chechens and Ingushes in 1944, were held in Helsinki, Oslo, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Istanbul, Paris, Vienna, Antwerp and Kiev.
