In Makhachkala, members of the working group created to achieve rehabilitation of the Gasanguseinov brothers killed by law enforcers and recognized as militants have claimed no progress in the case. The activists have also reported that they are unable to hold a meeting for a month already, since owners of the premises refuse them for different reasons.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has signed a law removing restriction on introduction of the republican budget draft to the Parliament till November 1. Chechnya receives abundant transfers from the federal budget, so their reduction will not affect residents of the republic. This opinion was voiced by Mikhail Chernyshov, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Market Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).

The Stavropol Regional Court has questioned criminal investigator Nikolai Zavyalikov, whom the defenders of Kislovodsk Imam Kurman-Ali Baichorov treat as the initiator of the criminal proceedings against the religious leader. Today, at the rally in Rostov-on-Don, miners of the "Kingcoal" group of companies have stated that out of 50 million roubles, promised by Governor Vasily Golubev, Gukovo miners got only 20 million roubles. Judge Umar Alborov has completed the consideration of the complaints lodged by activists of the "Voice of Beslan" against the judgement, having rejecting two more of them.
