Suleimanov, who went missing in Makhachkala, cannot be located for the fifth day

Moscow: some 30 people came to opening ceremony of exhibition of photos taken by children from Northern Caucasus
The photo show "On the plains and in the mountains: children's weekdays in Northern Caucasus" was opened on June 6 at the Moscow's Sakharov Centre in the presence of some 25-30 people. The exhibition features about 100 photos taken by children aged from 8 to 15 living in Dagestan, Ingushetia and Chechnya.

Three policemen injured in conflict involving son of Makhachkala Mayor
Investigators have started the pre-investigation check on the fact of the road conflict in Makhachkala, which, according to the media, involved a son of the Mayor of Makhachkala and his bodyguards. HRW: Berlin to call on Baku to release political prisoners

Relatives of people killed in attack on Nalchik go to court with demand to reveal place of their burial
The claim to the government of Kabardino-Balkaria has been filed to the Nalchik City Court on behalf of 15 persons. In their claim, relatives of the persons, killed during the special operation held in Nalchik on October 13, 2005, demand to reveal the place of their burial. Residents of Sochi village report on severe damage from flooding
As a result of the flooding, orchards and gardens, which were the only source of income for many residents of the village of Alekseevka of the Krasnodar Territory, were destroyed. This was reported by local residents. According to them, the people were not warned about the threatening disaster.

Saint Petersburg: hundreds rally against naming bridge after Kadyrov

Relatives of Dagestani Magomed Suleimanov report his kidnapping
Relatives of the 23-year-old resident of Dagestan Magomed Suleimanov cannot establish his whereabouts; and submitted an application to the police about his kidnapping. American journalists refuse to appeal against actions of FSB agents in Sochi
Employees of the American HBO TV Channel have finished the filming scheduled in Sochi, Dmitri Saltykovsky, the producer of the group of American journalists, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. Alexander Valov rejects charges of organizing rally in Sochi
Alexander Valov, the editor-in-chief of the website "BlogSochi", who was arrested by a Sochi court for five days after being detained with American journalists, has no claim to the custody conditions at the Matsesta temporary detention centre (known as IVS). In Ingushetia, military unit shelled from grenade launcher
