On January 1-7, 2018, three persons fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week of January 1-7, 2018, at least three persons were killed in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. No wounded were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

CDSI: 119 soldiers and officers killed in Southern Caucasus in 2017
78 out of 119 soldiers and officers of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, deceased in 2017, are non-combat casualties. The rest were killed in connection with violation of the ceasefire, the Caspian Defence Studies Institute (CDSI) reported.
