OSCE Mission finds no ceasefire violations in the Karabakh conflict zone
Members of the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) mission have revealed no ceasefire violations on the troops contact line, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan have reported.

Gadjiev's case highlights problem of pressure on journalists in Dagestan
Abdulmumin Gadjiev, a correspondent of the "Chernovik" (Draft) weekly, arrested within the case of financing terrorism, has suffered because of his articles on Islamic topics, said Magdi Kamalov, the founder of the weekly. The Gadjiev's case is based on the testimony of a single suspect, who does not directly accuse the journalist of a crime, said the advocate.

Author of the book about Kanzhal Battle wins trial against Balkar activist
The Supreme Court (SC) of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) has obliged Khadis Tetuev, an activist, to pay 50,000 roubles to Victor Kotlyarov, the author of the book "Kanzhal Battle: Look Through Centuries". The SC has treated the Tetuev's publication about Kotlyarov's book as insulting.

NGO points to violations of protesters' rights in Tbilisi

Law enforcers criticize format of raids conducted in Chechnya
In roads of Chechnya, armed people carry out raids and inspect cars. The security measures have been strengthened after two attacks on law enforcers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has explained. During their raids, law enforcers should not wear civilian clothes, otherwise conflicts may occur, veterans-law enforcers have warned.
