The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE) will check the enforcement of the decision of the of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg in favour of the Georgian citizens expelled from Russia in 2006. According to the NGO "Association of Young Georgian Lawyers", Russia has failed to enforcer the ECtHR's decision in time.

The defence of the Chechen natives, Said-Magomed and Khusein Tsetiev and Khamid Razhapov has appealed against the court decision to reimburse their arrest on unfair charges, trying to increase the compensation amount. Public resonance will contribute to success in such cases, lawyers believe.

During the match of the group stage of the Europa League of the "Dudelange" (Luxembourg) and "Karabakh" (Azerbaijan) Football Clubs (FCs), a drone appeared over the stadium carrying the flag of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR); the referee stopped the match for 20 minutes and took the teams away from the pitch. The incident did not prevent the Azerbaijani club from winning the match with the score 4:1.

A resident of Chechnya apologized for posting his video after Ramzan Kadyrov had instructed his subordinates to find an author of mocking messages posted during a fire in a Grozny shopping centre. The resident of Grozny called it "an act unworthy of a Chechen man," and went out with a shovel to clean the shopping centre affected by the fire.
