Georgian doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili sentenced in South Ossetia
Today, the Leningor District Court has found Tbilisi doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili guilty of violating the border and sentenced him to a year and nine months of imprisonment. Ingush activist Vyshegurov goes on hunger strike in SIZO

Kadyrov gets gratitude letter from President Putin after a dispute with Sokurov
On December 18, the presidential envoy to the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) handed over to Ramzan Kadyrov a gratitude letter from Vladimir Putin "for active participation in public and political life."
