Three residents of Chechnya repent in public of their criminal offenses
The "Grozny" TV Company devoted a story to residents of Chechnya detained on suspicion of theft and fraud. Three of the detainees repented of their actions. They will not be able to get rid of public shame, suggest authors of the TV story.

Defence succeeds in seeking cancellation of large-scale fine for Ingush activist Uzhakhov
The Supreme Court (SC) of Russia mitigated the punishment imposed on Malsag Uzhakhov, the chairman of the Ingush Council of Teips (families), by reducing his fine from 150,000 to 10,000 roubles, reported advocate Djabrail Kuriev.

Azerbaijan registers shelling attacks on two border villages

FSIN requests to transfer man sentenced for Nemtsov's murder from colony to prison
In Irkutsk, the court granted a request of a penal colony administration to transfer Zaur Dadaev, sentenced for the murder of Boris Nemtsov, to prison for three years, but the defence challenged the court's decision. The Federal Penitentiary Service (known as FSIN) began verifying photos from a feast in the penal colony with participation of Zaur Dadaev posted on a social network.

Tbilisi: arrest of investigator in teenager's suicide case extended
A court in Tbilisi has left Marianna Choloyan, a police investigator, accused of forcing a 15-year-old teenager to testify, after which he committed suicide, in custody. Ms Choloyan refuses to plead guilty.

Authorities send oppositionists to protest in Baku suburb

Court upholds decision on fine imposed on "International Memorial"

Grozny Duma announces contest for vacancy of mayor

Police detain those who disagree with outcomes of parliamentary elections in Baku
