Hospital workers in Chechnya get hens as part of salary
Employees of one of Grozny hospitals complain that they are forced to take hens produced by the "Tsentaroy" Poultry Farm, located in the family village of Chechen President - Khosi-Yurt (Tsentaroy), Kurchaloi District, as part of their salaries.

Chechens and Ingushes in Russia and Europe commemorate victims of 1944 deportation
Today, Chechens and Ingushes, wherever they live, mark the 66th anniversary of deportation of Ingush and Chechen nationals to Central Asia and Siberia. Mourning actions were held in the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Ingushetia, and in the countries of Europe where these nationals live.

Dagestan: workers at Gimri MWT complain of working conditions
The workforce employed at reconstruction of the Gimri Motorway Tunnel (MWT) in Dagestan believe that their work is slavish, working conditions are inhuman, and the wages that get for their job are ridiculous. The administration of the Limited Liability Company (LLC) "Dorstroyholding" categorically objects and sees competitors' intrigues in such statements.

Rostov Region: check is on of residents' mass address to hospital
The Prosecutor's Office is conducting a check in the Semikarakor District, Rostov Region, on the fact of address of more than 400 persons, including children, to hospital with the diarrhoea syndrome. Chechen Muftiyat obliges young marrieds to present AIDS-absence certificates to mullahs
The Spiritual Department of Moslems (SDM) of Chechnya has joined the struggle against spread of AIDS in the territory of the republic. Henceforth, the young people, intending to marry, should present the mullah, who registers new families according to Moslem traditions, with their medical certificates that they have no HIV-infection and AIDS-virus. Chechnya prepares to mark 66th anniversary of deportation of Chechens and Ingushes
