The court refused the defendants on the case of Markelov's murder deferment of making their last plea
Nikita Tikhonov was brought into the courtroom for participation in the trial on the criminal case of murder of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and journalist Anastasia Baburova. Gauze bandages were applied on Tikhonov's left hand, a little above his wrist, and on his neck, too. Evgenia Khasis had the same kind of bandage on her left wrist, too.

In Dagestan, entrepreneur offers to equip removed districts with solar modules
The innovative enterprise - the Limited Liability Company (LLC) "Dagkremniy" - is mastering manufacture of solar modules from mono-crystalline silicon, which essentially exceed - by electricity generation capacity - all the prototypes currently available in the world market. This is stated by Idris Idrisov, the author of the know-how and Director General of the "Dagkremniy". His company is already equipping localities in Dagestan and Chechnya, where it is difficult to bring power by wires, with solar modules.

Mayor's Office of the town of Shakhti refused registration of seven veterans of the Great Patriotic War as persons needing improvement of dwelling conditions. During the prosecutor's inspection it was found out that the veterans were living in houses practically with no necessary facilities.

A group of Chechen refugees returned from Poland to Chechnya
On April, 25, a group of Chechens consisting of 24 people, little children among them, was delivered to Grozny by bus from Poland. Until recently they had resided in that country. Residents of the republic who left for the countries of Europe in different periods are now returning to their motherland because they failed to get settled abroad, a representative of Federal Migration Service told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Nikita Tikhonov, defendant on the case of murder of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and journalist Anastasia Baburova, has slashed his wrists in the investigative isolation ward "Matrosskaya Tishina", therefore hearing the case was deferred. The residents of the village of Kidero, Tsuntin District of Dagestan, report that detentions in the village continue by unidentified power agents in masks.
