Four defendants in Said Amirov's case go on hunger strike
In Rostov-on-Don, at the trial in the case against Said Amirov, the former Mayor of Makhachkala, defendants claimed being subjected to pressure during their stay at the SIZO (pre-trial prison). To express their protest, four defendants in the case have announced the beginning of their indefinite hunger strike.

Hotels and private houses of Tbilisi accommodate 80 flood-affected families
In Tbilisi, 80 families consisting of about 400 people, who suffered from the flooding, have been accommodated in ten hotels and ten private houses. The population of the city and a number of companies have gathered foodstuffs, daily necessities and medicines for them.

Prosecutors reveal violations in boarding school in Zayukovo
Boarding School No. 1, located in the village of Zayukovo, has no permanent water supply and a broken fire alarm system, said the Prosecutor's Office of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR). The inspection of the boarding school was conducted on the demand of activists of the Movement "Republic is Our Common Cause".

All animals that escaped from Tbilisi zoo captured
The Georgian authorities have reported that all the animals, which had escaped from the zoo in Tbilisi during the flooding, have been caught. Sick animals will be treated, including with the help of experts, who came from other countries.

Official death toll of flooding in Georgia is 15
In central Tbilisi, in "Mziuri" Park, a dead body was found near the zoo; according to preliminary data, it was one of the rescuers. The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has officially confirmed 15 casualties.

Tbilisi collects clothes and food for flood victims
In Tbilisi, the works to eliminate the aftermath of the flood are underway. The Georgian Army is engaged in the activities. People deprived of their houses are accommodated at hotels. City residents collect things and food for the victims of the flood. Several countries, including Russia and Ukraine, offered their help in clearing ruins and restoring the Tbilisi zoo.

In Alagir, 958 poisoned people seek medical help
In North Ossetia, 132 people stay in hospitals after poisoning with tap water, and other people continue to seek medical help. According to the Ministry of Health of North Ossetia, the total number of the people, who sought medical help, reached 958 persons, including 632 adults and 326 children.
