Sochi Mayoralty auctions off Olympic houses built for settlers
The Mayoralty (city administration) of Sochi has put on auction 51 houses built near the Olympic Park in the ImeretiValley. Originally, those houses were designed for resettlement of people who lost their homes because of the need for construction of the Olympic facilities.

Two persons killed near Gimry
Today, a shootout has taken place between suspected members of an illegal armed formation (IAF) and law enforcers in the forest near the village of Gimry of the Untsukul District of Dagestan. Two suspected militants were killed.

Relatives of detained resident of Kabardino-Balkaria cannot establish his whereabouts
On August 15, Zhabrail Shugushev, a resident of the village of Dugulubgei (Dygulybgei) of the Baksan District of Kabardino-Balkaria, was detained in his house after the search and taken away to some unknown destination.
