Protesting miners detained in Gukovo
Today, at 11:00 a.m., in Gukovo, miners started their picket in the square near the building of the Palace of Culture with a demand to have their wages debts paid. The picket was sanctioned by the city authorities and was about 60 persons strong.

At least one of the Chechen gay men, who were granted asylum in Canada, fell victim to threats from his compatriots, members of the Chechen Diaspora in Toronto. Azadliq Radio files a complaint to ECtHR against Azeri Govt
The Azadliq Radio, the Azerbaijani unit of the Radio Liberty, has appealed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) with a complaint about obstruction of activities in the territory of Azerbaijan.
