Egyptian footballer becomes an honorary citizen of Chechnya

Ramzan Kadyrov awarded Mohamed Salah, an attacker of the Egyptian national team, with the title of honorary citizen of Chechnya. The decision contradicts the statute of the award, which is granted to those persons who have worked in Chechnya for at least 20 years, local observers note.

Kadyrov argues with State Department on Titiev's case

Today, the US State Department has demanded to liberate Oyub Titiev, the head of the Grozny office of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial", calling the accusations against him groundless. Russia's MFA not to intervene in Tatunashvili's case
