NKR counts hundred shelling attacks by Azerbaijan within week

KChR student who died in Egypt prison buried there
Alikhan Kazymov, a 22-year-old native of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR), who was detained by Egyptian special services three months ago during a raid to identify illegal immigrants, has died in an Egyptian prison. On October 3, he was buried in a suburb of Cairo.

Social network users perceive ban on vapes in Chechnya as total
The law passed in Chechnya prohibits sale of electronic cigarettes (vapes) only to minors, but social network commentators believe that the ban also applies to adults. If vapes are not banned in Dagestan either, residents of Chechnya will buy them there, social network users point out.

Georgian NGO claims non-fulfilment by Russia of ECtHR's decision in favour of Georgians
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE) will check the enforcement of the decision of the of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg in favour of the Georgian citizens expelled from Russia in 2006. According to the NGO "Association of Young Georgian Lawyers", Russia has failed to enforcer the ECtHR's decision in time.

Decision to pay compensations to Chechens Tsetievs and Razhapov was promoted by public outcry
The defence of the Chechen natives, Said-Magomed and Khusein Tsetiev and Khamid Razhapov has appealed against the court decision to reimburse their arrest on unfair charges, trying to increase the compensation amount. Public resonance will contribute to success in such cases, lawyers believe.

Police treats raids at Makhachkala mosque as safety care

Azerbaijani fans upset by incident at "Karabakh" FC match
During the match of the group stage of the Europa League of the "Dudelange" (Luxembourg) and "Karabakh" (Azerbaijan) Football Clubs (FCs), a drone appeared over the stadium carrying the flag of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR); the referee stopped the match for 20 minutes and took the teams away from the pitch.
