Court refuses to release two Magas protesters
On February 20, the Supreme Court (SC) of Kabardino-Balkaria dismissed a complaint filed about arrests of Isropil Nalgiev and Amirkhan Bekov. The activists were taken into custody on suspicion of using violence against law enforcers during a rally in Magas, an advocate reported.

Court refuses to consider Ali Kerimli's claim against Azerbaijani MIA

Chechen judge's son complains to ECtHR about torture
Today, lawyers of the "Committee Against Torture" (CaT) have appealed to the Strasbourg Court with a complaint about a violation of the rights of Ibragim Yangulbaev, a native of Chechnya. Human rights defenders pointed to the beating of Ibragim Yangulbaev by law enforcers and unjustified arrest.

Azerbaijan claims machine-gun shelling attacks in conflict zone
