Arabian students detained on explosions in Sochi

Under investigation of the case about a series of explosions in Sochi, several Arabs-students of the Sochi Branch of the Russian People's Friendship University were detained as suspects of making the explosive.

Earlier it was reported that a series of explosions committed in Sochi in 2008-2009 was opened, and suspects were detained and giving confessions. Later it became known that an employee of a Sochi-based TV Company and a worker of Sochi UVD were among the detainees.

Later, additional information arrived that in Sochi an underground shop for manufacturing explosives was detected, where the explosive for fulfilment of the latest explosions was made. At liquidating the shop, several Arabian students were detained who, according to the investigation, manufactured the explosive matter. All the power agencies refuse to give any official comments on this occasion. The People's Friendship University also gave no comments on this information, as the "Kommersant" reports.

Meanwhile, according to this edition, one of earlier detainees is Mikhail Denisenko, 25, a director of the "Efkate" Sochi TV Company. The investigatory bodies refused to confirm this information, saying that prior presenting charges, it is necessary to conduct interrogations and identifications.

The TV Company reported, in its turn, that anybody of the employees was ever involved in any terror acts and nobody was detained.
