Amnesty International: large Chechnya Film Festival in US

Amnesty International arranges the Chechnya Film Festival, one of the largest film festivals on Chechnya. The website www.chechnyafilmfestival.org was specially created to cover the Festival.

Film festival organizers include human rights organizations known in the world. As the organizers of the Festival inform, the aim of this large-scale action is to acquaint world public with the best independent and not politically booked films about war in Chechnya. The Festival will take place on September 15-25 in two US cities - Washington and New York.
