Mutsolgov: terror act in Vladikavkaz told on Ingushes at once

Immediately after blowing up of the "Gazel" taxi in Vladikavkaz, the Ingushes, who tried to drive through the "Chermen Circle" in the border of Ingushetia and North Ossetia, faced problems, Magomed Mutsolgov, leader of the Ingush Human Rights Organization "Mashr", told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"Traffic jams, inspections, boorish treatment, groundless detentions for several hours - this is what happens there," Mr Mutsolgov asserts.

"A public organization of North Ossetia just wished to hold the Caucasian Forum. All the Caucasian nations were invited there, including Ingushes. In my opinion, this was a step towards better relations among local republics. However, as soon as any such steps are undertaken, provocations immediately follow from the Ingush or Ossetian party. Then, entrance rules become tougher, such events are cancelled and intentions disrupted," the human rights activist has added.

In his comments on the incident and its possible reasons, Mr Mutsolgov said: "I can't say who's done it. The investigation should do it." At the same time, he has noted that within the last five years that he is engaged in human rights activities, he has learnt about many cases when "special agencies happened to be involved in many provocations, bombardments and overwhelming number of kidnappings."

"Probably, somebody tries to aggravate relations between our two republics in the context of the advent of the new President," Mr Mutsolgov argues. "President Evkurov is not an FSB agent. Maybe, they try to test him with such things."
