Khazbiev: Maksharip Aushev's house in Ingushetia is illegally searched

The house of Maksharip Aushev, the present owner of the independent Internet portal "Ingushetia.Ru" (now, "Ingushetia.Org"), is again surrounded. Magomed Khazbiev, Maksharip Aushev's comrade-in-arms and leader of the Nationwide Rally of Ingush People, who had earlier asked not to treat him and Maksharip Aushev as oppositionists, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that this was an intimidating action held by the Ingushetian MIA.

Meanwhile, the Republic's MIA keeps telling that they know nothing about these actions.

"I don't know what they're looking for in Maksharip's house. But I think that it's directly connected with the planned rally. These actions are intended to intimidate. Aushev himself is far away now," said Magomed Khazbiev.

Let us note here that on October 18, a rally is planned in Nazran against a biased investigation into the murder of Magomed Evloev, the previous owner of "Ingushetia.Ru".

Today, power agents visited Maksharip Aushev's house twice, making unauthorized searches there. Also, they visited the house of Maksharip Aushev's father, where they tried to frighten Aushev's relatives by moving their gun tubes out of car windows. "This is all made by employees of the Republic's MIA," said Mr Khazbiev.

On October 14, the house and the district, where Maksharip Aushev lives, were also cordoned by law enforcers who came in armoured vehicles and passenger cars. There were more than 200 of them.
