Attempt of opposition Democratic Party to hold unsanctioned meeting was prevented in Baku

The attempt of the opposition Democratic Party of Azerbaijan to hold an unsanctioned meeting in the center of Baku on Saturday was prevented by the police.

As a result, the capital police arrested about 30 activists of the DPA, several people got injuries.

The police of Baku has not given any comment on the action of protest yet.

The DPA representatives report that over 500 activists of the party took part in the meeting. There is no official information on the number of the action participants yet.
