Restaurant workers in Krasnodar complained about months of salary debts.

Employees of the "Boutique" restaurant in Krasnodar recorded a video message complaining about months of salary delays and unproductive appeals to the labor inspectorate. According to one of the workers, about 20 people have not received their money.

Workers at the restaurant on Krasny Partizan Street recorded a video message in which they spoke about debts and unfulfilled promises from the employer to pay salaries. Some of them, according to their words, have been waiting for money for six months.

The video and the message about the prosecutor's inspection on October 27 were published by the Telegram channel "Typodar Krasnodar". According to the channel, employees appealed to the labor inspectorate but received a response recommending them to go to court.

A former kitchen employee, who worked as a cook, reported systematic delays. According to her, the debt owed to her is 64,000 rubles.

"We had systematic delays in salary. That is, we would come and plead, and the employer always found an excuse," she said in the video message.

The cook also stated that she was not provided with a time sheet. According to her, at first, the employer promised to settle accounts and sometimes transferred small parts of the salary to employees, but then stopped answering calls.

"If before that there were some promises and some guys really received some money, for example, if the salary is 60,000, he pays 10,000 and says: in two weeks I will give you more," she explained.

A different former employee, a hot kitchen cook, reported a debt of 60,000 rubles.

Another former worker of the restaurant said that he worked 36 days without days off but received only part of what he earned. According to him, he was paid 30,000 rubles, and the debt is another 50,000. The last payment was on May 30. After that, he claims, his calls went unanswered, and he is not allowed into the establishment.

A former employee of the restaurant reported the absence of official employment. According to her, the manager promised to hire her but did not do so.

The woman's last working day was March 31. After her dismissal, she was promised that her debt of 87,750 rubles would be paid first by the end of April, then by May 15. However, according to her, she never received the money.

"There are about 20 of us, if not more. Employees from the hall, kitchen, buyers, as well as people who worked during the construction of this establishment," she said in the video.

The prosecutor's office of the Western administrative district of Krasnodar organized an inspection regarding reports of unpaid salaries at the request of the regional prosecutor's office. The agency reported on its Telegram channel that it would assess the employer's compliance with labor legislation, the completeness and timeliness of payments, and take action if there are grounds.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported on resonant cases where residents of Krasnodar Krai resorted to extraordinary methods due to unpaid salaries. For example, in May 2022, in the village of Veselovka in the Temryuk district, a crane operator climbed to the end of the boom of a tower crane and declared an indefinite strike. He recorded a video in which he stated that the employer owed him and his partner almost half a million rubles. "I will sit here until I get my money," said the worker. After the publicity, the prosecutor's office organized an inspection. Later, after the authorities intervened, the crane operator was paid the delayed salary.
