As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 28, it became known that 25-year-old Nalcian resident Eldar Aloev, arrested on charges of preparing a terrorist act and involvement in a terrorist organization, appealed to the human rights commissioner in Kabardino-Balkaria for help in publishing a statement of repentance and public apologies. In a note published on September 26 in the newspaper "Kabardino-Balkarskaya Pravda", Aloev publicly apologized and admitted his guilt.
