A resident of Kuban has been charged with involvement in a terrorist organization.

A 20-year-old resident of the Abinsky district has been charged with publicly justifying terrorism and participating in the activities of a terrorist organization.

The criminal case of a resident of the Abinsky district, who is accused of involvement in a terrorist organization, has been submitted to the court.

According to the investigation, in June 2023, while still a minor, the young man published a message in his messenger account containing signs of justifying terrorism. In July 2024, he joined one of the banned terrorist organizations in Russia. Acting under the direction of a curator, against whom a separate case is being conducted, he began creating propaganda materials to recruit new members into the mentioned organization, writes "Utrennyy Yug" on September 12.

During the investigative actions, the young man admitted his guilt, and he has been detained during the investigation. He has been charged under part 2 of article 205.2 (public justification of terrorism using the internet) and part 2 of article 205.5 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" reported that at the end of June, the court arrested a resident of the Abinsky district for five days for a comment deemed inciting hatred.
