Two people were injured in a rocket attack in Volgograd.

As a result of the rocket attack, apartment buildings in Volgograd were damaged, and two injured individuals were hospitalized. A temporary accommodation point has been opened for the residents of the damaged houses.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on the night of July 31, a woman was killed in Volgograd as a result of a drone attack, and eight people were hospitalized. Later, two of the injured died, while the others were discharged from hospitals by mid-August.

Last night, as a result of a rocket attack, an apartment building in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd was damaged, the administration of the Volgograd region reported on its Telegram channel.

"Two injured men, aged 55 and 42, were hospitalized. Debris was also reported to have fallen on the territory of an industrial enterprise in southern Volgograd," the publication quoted Governor Andrey Bocharov.

Two apartment buildings - No. 36 and No. 51 on Heroes of the Little Land Street - were damaged as a result of the rocket attack, the administration of Volgograd clarified on its Telegram channel.

"For the duration of the emergency services' work, a temporary accommodation point was quickly opened for residents on the territory of school No. 64. Large-capacity buses were provided by the municipal transport enterprise for heating residents who did not use the temporary accommodation. Sleeping places and hot meals were organized at the temporary accommodation point. Currently, there are no residents at the temporary accommodation point," the city administration reported at 07:58 Moscow time. As of 10:10 Moscow time, there are no new publications about the situation in the Telegram channel of the administration.

Recall that on June 27, a woman was killed, and another 11 people were injured in a rocket attack on a production facility in the Krasnooktyabrsky district of Volgograd. At least three people were detained after their recordings of the rocket attack were posted online. In a conversation with law enforcement, which was published by local media, the detainees apologized.

In the regions of the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasian Federal District, including the Volgograd region, filming of drone attacks and their consequences is prohibited. These prohibitions contradict the Constitution, which guarantees the inadmissibility of censorship and the freedom to seek, record, and disseminate information, lawyers pointed out.
