"New People" removed their candidate for the State Duma in Krasnodar.

The actions (inaction) of the candidate are a violation of the requirements of the Party Charter and non-fulfillment of the decisions of the governing bodies of the Party, contradict the interests of the Party and cause political damage to the Party, which is the basis for the withdrawal of the candidate.

According to the decision of the Central Council of the party, which is attached to the publication, "Barashkov did not present to the Central Council of the Party a candidate program taking into account the socio-economic features of his electoral district; information about reserved print space in at least one periodic print publication, and also did not directly present all campaign print and audiovisual materials for preliminary voting no later than three days before the start of their production...".

Also, "New People" blamed Alexander Barashkov for not providing a list of observers for the upcoming elections. "The specified actions (inaction) of the candidate are a violation of the requirements of the Party Charter and non-fulfillment of the decisions of the governing bodies of the Party, contradict the interests of the Party and cause political damage to the Party, which is the basis for the withdrawal of the candidate," the decision signed personally by its chairman Alexey Nechaev states.

According to the publication, Barashkov's party colleagues suspect that Alexander Barashkov jeopardized the victory of the main competitor — the deputy of the Legislative Assembly from "United Russia" Galina Golovchenko. Another source indicated that Barashkov tried to organize independent monitoring at polling stations in his single-member district during the voting period. "This did not please the internal political bloc of the regional administration. And he pushed for the removal of Alexander Sergeyevich from the elections," the source's words are quoted in the publication.
