The condition of the park in Sunzha has given rise to criticism of the officials.

The authorities of Sunzha reported on the preparation of repair work in the city park. Local residents, commenting on this report on social media, noted that officials have repeatedly promised to improve the park, but it has been in a neglected state for a long time.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 4, 2025, after complaints from residents, the head of Ingushetia, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, promised to open the renovated city park of Sunzha in the summer of 2026. According to him, the park was closed due to problems with landscaping and sanitary conditions, and the authorities were preparing to conclude an agreement with an investor.

The administration of Sunzha has concluded a new concession agreement for the construction of the park. The start of construction work is scheduled for next week, said the mayor of Sunzha, Aslan Umarov, whose words were reported by "Interfax" on August 21.
