The courts refused to consider the claims of "Wings of Unity" against the CEC of Armenia.

The Administrative Appeal Court confirmed the position of the first instance court, which refused to consider the claim of the opposition party "Wings of Unity" against the CEC of Armenia.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the opposition parties "Prosperous Armenia" and "Wings of Unity", as well as the bloc "Armenia", demanded that the election commission recount the votes of voters at 555 polling stations, while "Strong Armenia" demanded to annul the results at one of the stations. As a result of the recount, "Prosperous Armenia" gained 140 votes. On June 11, the results of voting at two polling stations in Armenia were annulled by the decision of the Central Election Commission. As a result, "Prosperous Armenia" lost 213 votes.

The Appeal Court rejected the complaint of the party "Wings of Unity" against the decision of the first instance court, which refused to accept the claim challenging the CEC's decision of June 15, 2026, reports Armenia Today, citing party member Liparit Drmeyan.

By this decision, the CEC ruled that recognizing the results of voting at several polling stations as invalid does not significantly affect the overall results of the elections, and therefore, no repeat voting was scheduled.

"Notably, the following part of the reasoning of the Administrative Appeal Court's decision: The Constitutional Court did not accept the party's complaint for consideration, which does not mean that this decision is subject to appeal in an administrative manner," Drmeyan reported on his Facebook page.

According to the politician, as a result, the party is effectively deprived of the opportunity to challenge the legality of the decision in any judicial instance. In his assessment, such an approach contradicts the European Convention on Human Rights.

The opposition party "Wings of Unity" filed a cassation complaint. Drmeyan emphasized that the Cassation Court is the last instance for exhausting domestic legal remedies.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that in early July, the Constitutional Court of Armenia rejected the applications of seven political forces challenging the results of the parliamentary elections on June 7 and upheld the decision of the Central Election Commission regarding the voting results.
